Familiar shapes from Hilary Grant Knitwear, but arranges them liberally and without rules, rotating, mirroring and chopping them up to suit the composition. Special care has been paid to the interplay of the negative spaces—or ‘kerning’—formed between these characters.
The design feels loose but retains the regimented character of the shapes themselves.
A very versatile, easy to wear style.

Made by Hilary Grant, a textile design studio and knitwear factory based on the Northerly Scottish islands of Orkney. The studio is a partnership between Hilary Grant + Robbie Harvey, who have backgrounds in Textile Design + Architecture. They specialise in original knitted pattern, with an intuitive, exploratory approach to colour.
